El nuevo álbum de Harry Styles obtuvo un récord en ventas

Con su disco Harry’s House, el cantante de pop inglés facturó por 146 mil copias y le quitó el primer lugar para esa marca a Taylor Swift, en su primera semana de lanzamiento en Estados Unidos.

El tercer álbum de la estrella de pop, que se inició en la banda juvenil One Direction, obtuvo la mayor cantidad de ventas en formato de vinilo en su primera semana de lanzamiento luego de tres días de estar disponible desde el 20 de mayo, informó el portal especializado Variety.

El LP fue comprado en 146 mil oportunidades en Estados Unidos, superando a la cantante Taylor Swift, que con el vinilo de su disco Red detentaba hasta ahora el primer lugar en ese rubro desde el año pasado.

El éxito del británico de 28 años no es una sorpresa, ya que su álbum de 2019 Fine Line fue el lanzamiento número uno en ventas de vinilos del año siguiente y el auge continuó en 2021 con el cuarto lugar del año en ese formato.

Harry’s House, además, llegó al primer puesto de la Billboard’s Top 100 y su corte As It Was se convirtió en la canción más escuchada en Spotify 24 horas después de publicada.
