Buenos Aires.- La Ministra de Salud de la Nación, Carla Vizzotti, sostuvo que “estamos empezando en Argentina una cuarta ola de covid-19”. La funcionaria aclaró que gracias a la campaña de vacunación, este brote de contagios “nos encuentra en una situación totalmente distinta ya que tenemos un panorama que nos permite seguir adelante en una nueva etapa de esta pandemia”. Por esta razón, Vizzotti descartó nuevas restricciones pese al aumento de nuevos casos: este domingo, los positivos detectados casi que se habían duplicado respecto a la última semana, de acuerdo con el reporte semanal que difundió la cartera sanitaria.
La confirmación de Vizotti tuvo lugar en una nueva edición presencial del Consejo Federal de Salud (Cofesa). Allí la ministra de Salud de Nación puntualizó la importancia de seguir avanzando en la integración del sistema de salud, más allá de la demanda causada por el coronavirus.
“Venimos trabajando en una situación de integración por la pandemia y tenemos la convicción de que tenemos que aprovechar esta oportunidad para sostenerlo y profundizarlo para que no dependa de las decisiones de quienes hoy circunstancialmente estemos en estos lugares, sino que haya un marco normativo que permita iniciar el camino de la integración del sistema de salud”, aseguró la ministra.
