El Ceo de Generación Zoe, investigado por presunta asociación ilícita y estafas reiteradas, deberá declarar en el juzgado de Goya.
Córdoba.- El CEO de Generación Zoe, Leonardo Cositorto, fue trasladado este miércoles desde Córdoba a la provincia de Corrientes, donde tendrá que declarar en el juzgado de Goya, en el marco de la causa en la que se lo investiga por presunta asociación ilícita y estafas reiteradas que habría afectado a ahorristas mediante el sistema piramidal.
La causa judicial en Corrientes se lleva a cabo luego de que al menos 300 personas expresaran que fueron estafadas por Generación Zoe aunque solo 102 realizaron la denuncia formal.
En las últimas horas se realizaron distintos allanamientos en Corrientes en los cuales se secuestraron motos y autos cero kilómetros presuntamente comprados con dinero de los ahorristas. En esa provincia hay al menos tres detenidos por la causa.
Se prevé que entre jueves y viernes Cositorto sea indagado por la Justicia correntina.
Cositorto fue indagado de forma presencial el martes por la justicia de Córdoba, donde la causa es investigada por la Fiscalía de la ciudad cordobesa de Villa María, a cargo de Juliana Companys.
Al ser indagado por la fiscal cordobesa, el acusado aseguró “no tener nada que ver con Villa María”, según contó Companys a la prensa. Agregó que la defensa del imputado solicitó la excarcelación, pero “fue negada”.
En esa localidad del este de Córdoba, Cositorto debe responder por ser responsable de 176 presuntas estafas, que denunciaron 94 damnificados, explicó la fiscal.
Previo a su traslado a Corrientes, el CEO de Generación Zoe se encontraba detenido en la cárcel de Bouwer, tras su arribo al país luego de ser extraditado desde República Dominicana.
Miguel Ángel Pierri, uno de los abogados del líder de Generación Zoe, dijo: “Tuvimos una extensa declaración indagatoria, por casi tres horas y media, respondió a todas las preguntas de la fiscalía. Desde el punto de vista de la defensa creo que fue una muy buena declaración”.
“Con Villa María no tenemos nada que ver”, sostuvo Pierri en línea con lo dicho por su defendido.
La fiscal Companys comentó que fue solicitado el traslado de Cositorto a la localidad correntina de Goya “por una imputación que tiene ahí, y se autorizó ese traslado”.
Sobre las penas que corresponden si se encuentra culpable el acusado, la funcionaria advirtió: “La estafa va de seis meses a seis años de prisión y la asociación ilícita va de tres a 10 años y calificada son cinco años como mínimo para los cabecillas”.
Junto a Cositorto también fue indagado Maximiliano Batista, otro de los imputados relacionado a la organización, aunque éste último eligió no declarar.
La fiscal confirmó que continúa la investigación y que dentro de 20 días sería vuelto a citar el líder de la asociación, ya que “podrían surgir nuevas denuncias”.
