El “Xeneize” barrió la serie de reclasificación ante San Lorenzo y jugará los cuartos de final de la Liga Nacional de Básquetbol ante el conjunto marplatense, al mejor de cinco duelos, desde este viernes en el Estadio Polideportivo.
Se acabó el misterio para Peñarol, que realizó una muy buena temporada regular y por eso descansó durante estos días, a la espera de confirmarse el rival en cuartos de final. Como el equipo marplatense terminó cuarto, le tocará enfrentar al mejor posicionado en la tabla general de los que lograron superar los Play-Offs de reclasificación.
Boca Juniors, que finalizó quinto en la etapa regular, eliminó a San Lorenzo por 2 a 0, tras superarlo esta noche en la “Bombonerita” por 87 a 78, mientras que ya le había ganado en Boedo 91 a 63. Por lo tanto, se metió en cuartos de final y jugará con desventaja deportiva ante Peñarol.
La serie, al mejor de cinco juegos, comenzará el próximo viernes 29 de abril a las 21 en el Estadio Polideportivo “Islas Malvinas”, donde también se jugará el segundo partido, el domingo 1 de mayo. Luego, se mudaron al Estadio “Luis Conde” de Capital Federal, donde disputarán el miércoles 4 de mayo el tercer juego y, de ser necesario, el cuarto será también en la “Bombonerita” el viernes 6 y el quinto y definitivo enfrentamiento, el lunes 9 en Mar del Plata.
Para el primer duelo, Peñarol ya dio a conocer el cronograma para sacar las entradas, que iniciará este miércoles y jueves de 16 a 21, y viernes de 10 a 18, en la sede del club, ubicada en Garay y Santiago del Estero. Además, se habilitarán la boletería del estadio el mismo viernes a partir de las 19.30.
Cabe destacar que como la serie entre Regatas y Riachuelo está igualada en 1 y resta un partido en Corrientes, todavía no están definidos los otros cruces, por lo que esperan Quimsa, Gomnasia de Comodoro e Instituto, sus rivales que saldrán de ese duelo y de los ya clasificados Oberá TC y San Martín de Corrientes. Mientras que también resta disputarse el Play-Off de permanencia entre Unión de Santa Fe e Hispano Americano.
