El Ente Municipal de Turismo de Mar del Plata informó este lunes los números oficiales que arrojó la temporada de verano y el mes de marzo en nuestra ciudad. En el período comprendido entre el 1º de diciembre de 2021 y el 31 de marzo de 2022, arribaron 4.158.272 turistas, lo que significa un 46% más que el mismo período del 2020/2021.
Los arribos del mes de marzo ascendieron a 743.884 turistas, un 23,4% más que en 2021, ubicándolo por encima del promedio de arribos en ese mes en los últimos 10 años.
Asimismo, la ocupación hotelera global de marzo promedió el 45% con picos del 55% en la primera quincena, con 574.304 pernoctes totales en el mes. El promedio de plazas hoteleras ofrecidas por día en marzo fue de 41.210, con 18.558 plazas ocupadas diariamente, lo cual es un 156% más que el mismo período del 2021.
En cuanto a los medios de transporte utilizados por los visitantes durante marzo para llegar a
Mar del Plata, el 81,3% lo hizo en Automóvil; el 10,2% en Ómnibus con 3.502 servicios (un
72,9% más que 2021); el 6,7% lo hizo en Ferrocarril con 106 servicios (un 1,0% más respecto a
2021); y el 1,8% en Avión, con 143 vuelos (un 225% más que 2021).
