Votaron 1160 propietarios y choferes de taxis. El “no” se impuso por 1148 a 12.

Este jueves 1160 propietarios y choferes de taxis votaron , en un plebiscito organizado por SI.M.PE.TAX, que tuvo lugar en Guido y Rawson, la no obligatoriedad del uso del GPS en los vehículos. La boleta del “No al GPS y al turno obligatorio” se impuso por “1148 votos” a “12” en la elección realizada en la sede de Taxicoop.

De esa manera, y por elección de los propios interesados, piden que no se aplique la resolución Nº 2301/21 de la secretaría de Gobierno de la municipalidad de General Pueyrredon, la cual obliga a los taxistas a prestar servicio rotativo obligatorio de ocho horas y la imposición de la adquisición de un botón antipánico que deberá colocarse de manera permanente y obligatoria en el vehículo.

La polémica surgió a fines del año pasado, con el intento del gobierno municipal de instalar la obligación tanto del uso de la geolocalización en el auto de alquiler como del horario de trabajo del mismo.

“No queremos que nos obliguen, en todo caso que nos consulten, y además tampoco queremos pagar ni la instalación de 6 mil pesos ni el monitoreo mensual de 500 pesos porque ya pagamos suficientes impuestos”, detalló Rodríguez.

En la ciudad existen “2147 licencias” de taxis, de las cuales “habrá unas 900 activas”, calcularon desde el gremio. En la municipalidad estimaron que “en principio todas están activas”.
