El Presidente repudió el intento de asesinato contra la Vicepresidenta y decretó para este viernes feriado nacional para que “el pueblo argentino pueda expresarse por la paz y por la vida”.
El presidente Alberto Fernández expresó su repudio por el atentado a Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, que sucedió en la noche del jueves cuando un hombre intentó dispararle con un arma de fuego cuando la vicepresidenta llegaba a su casa en Recoleta.
“Es un hecho que conmueve a todo el pueblo argentino” expresó Fernández en Cadena Nacional. Además decretó este viernes como feriado nacional para que “el pueblo argentino pueda expresarse por la paz y por la vida”.
En un mensaje corto pero contundente, el máximo mandatario expresó que este incidente “merece el más enérgico repudio de toda la sociedad”. Y se refirió a los “discursos de odio que generan violencia”.
“Es necesario desterrar la violencia y el odio del discurso político y mediático”, dijo el Presidente y convocó a “rechazar cualquier forma de violencia”.
Sobre la situación del detenido tras el intento fallido de asesinar a Cristina Kirchner, el jefe de Estado, señaló que “le he solicitado a la jueza que esclarezca los hechos y que asegure la vida del acusado”.
Finalmente comunicó: “He dispuesto declarar el día de mañana (viernes) feriado nacional para que el pueblo argentino pueda expresarse por la paz y por la vida”.
