Según informó el Ente Municipal de Turismo (EMTUR) los arribos de agosto ascienden a 548.330 turistas. Esa cifra está un 14,5% por encima del mismo período en 2021 y un 9,8% más que en 2019.
Desde el EMTUR remarcaron que agosto de 2022 arrojó el número más alto desde 2008, año en que las vacaciones de invierno fueron entre el 26 de julio y el 10 de agosto.
Otro dato importante es que –en lo que va de 2022- han llegado a nuestra ciudad 6.010.520 turistas, un 50,1% más que el mismo período del año pasado y un 8,6% por encima de los datos registrados en 2019, último año pre pandemia. Es el registro más alto desde 2015.
En ese sentido –y desde el mes de abril inclusive- todos los meses superan los registros del 2019.
