Tras su presentación solidaria con motivo del Día de la Mujer, murga La Gorda Nelly retorna a los escenarios y lo hace en la casa de todos los marplatenses: el Teatro Colón. Todo el color, irreverencia, humor y música de su espectáculo “Descarte” se encontrará con el público el 1 de septiembre a las 21 hrs.
Este colectivo artístico conformado íntegramente por mujeres brindará una función llena de música y feminismo, y las entradas ya están en venta anticipada en su instagram @murgagordanelly o boletería del teatro en Hipólito Yrigoyen 1665.
La Gorda Nelly hace varios años que estudia el género murga y se dedica a crear en torno a esta expresión artística. A través de un discurso cuidado, así como los vestuarios, las actuaciones, el humor y la puesta de luces y de escena, “Descarte” relata historias cotidianas.
Con 17 artistas en escena, es un espectáculo para todo público que invita a reflexionar, a revisarse y a reírse de los problemas diarios con cuestionamientos a la realidad.
Después de la fecha del Colón tienen confirmada su presencia en el Encuentro de Mujeres, pero también tienen pensado recorrer escenarios de la zona y participar de un intercambio con murgas en CABA desde 2023.
El espectáculo está gestionado íntegramente por murga La Gorda Nelly a través de una creación colectiva que llevó años y que sale a la luz para el disfrute de todas las personas.
La agrupación, con presentaciones constantes en la ciudad y la zona, se caracteriza por estar presente en cada lucha que se convoca, principalmente aquellas feministas. De esta manera, en el 2019 y 2020 la murga participó del Encuentro Internacional de Mujeres Murguistas en Montevideo, en el emblemático Teatro de Verano, junto a otras murgas de mujeres y disidencias.La murga La Gorda Nelly también recibió el premio “Alfonsina Storni”, en la categoría Música, otorgado por la Secretaría de Cultura municipal por la labor realizada en 2019 y 2020.
