El nuevo sistema del PAMI busca acortar los tiempos de espera para obtener turnos y mejorar la calidad de las prestaciones. Funcionará a partir de este martes.
Buenos Aires.- Los afiliados del PAMI podrán elegir desde este martes el profesional especialista y el centro de diagnóstico por imágenes donde atenderse, en un cambio en el sistema de atención que anunciaron hace algunos días el presidente Alberto Fernández y la directora Ejecutiva de la obra social, Luana Volnovich.
El nuevo modelo de libre elección de especialistas busca acortar los tiempos de espera para obtener turnos y mejorar la calidad de la atención, se informó a través de un comunicado.
Como primer paso, es necesario que el médico o médica de cabecera emita una orden electrónica para la especialidad o estudio de diagnóstico por imágenes que el paciente necesita.
Como segundo paso, la persona afiliada podrá elegir en la nueva cartilla el médico o médica especialista o centro de diagnóstico, dentro de su zona prestacional.
Como tercer y último paso, deberán comunicarse con el prestador seleccionado y solicitar un turno.
La nueva cartilla se encuentra disponible en el sitio https://libertad.pami.org.ar/ y en la aplicación de PAMI para teléfonos celulares.

También se informó que se pueden realizar consultas al asistente virtual las 24 horas del día, y desde cualquier punto del país, con un formato de mensajería instantánea diseñado para responder las preguntas más frecuentes.
