El reconocido conductor murió este sábado en su casa del Barrio La Florida, rodeado de sus hijos y acompañado por Emma, su esposa.

Con una extensa trayectoria de más de 60 años en los medios, Aguel había dado sus primeros pasos a temprana edad en “LU6, donde formó parte de la recordada “Pandilla del Tío Enrique”, bajo la dirección del maestro Rouget Oscar Espinosa. Integrando dicha banda conocería a Matilde -Tilde- Uzquiano, con quien tiempo después serían las voces e imágenes fundacionales en las transmisiones inaugurales de Canal 8, un 18 de Diciembre de 1960, 3 años después de haber obtenido su matriculación como Locutor Profesional.

Recordado por hazañas como “La Maratón de los Tres: Cruzada de la Bondad”, donde junto a Rodolfo Coppari y Chacho Santos realizaron una transmisión ininterrumpida de 75 horas, o en su época de manager -fue representante, entre otros, de figuras como María Martha Serra Lima y Armando Manzaneros-, mantuvo viva su pasión por la radio hasta sus últimos días, realizando diaramente su programa “Sin Pálidas” en una emisoria local.
