La CGT Regional Mar del Plata participó de las actividades que desarrolla la “Escuela de Mar y Playa Mar del Plata” en el complejo de hoteles de Chapadmalal.
Este plan es una iniciativa de las “Scholas Ocurrentes” mediante el cual se busca recrear y contextualizar su modelo nacido en Tofo (Mozambique) y aplicarlo en lugares donde exista la necesidad y oportunidad de hacerlo.
En Mar del Plata a través del surf en mayor medida pero también desde las expresiones artísticas, se busca que los jóvenes descubran su pasión junto al deporte, el arte y el pensamiento, que se conozcan a sí mismos y creen sus oportunidades.
Durante este año está previsto que participen del proyecto 120 jóvenes distribuidos en 4 ciclos de 30 chicos y chicas de Mar del Plata de gran diversidad en lo económico y social. Asimismo para este verano el Plan se prepara para recibir jóvenes de todas las provincias en contingentes de 100 personas semanales que serán recibidos por quienes de nuestra ciudad vivieron la experiencia.
Estuvieron presentes escuchando los testimonios y reflexiones de las chicas y chicos los compañeros Miguel Guglielmotti, Secretario General de la CGT, Fernando Soto, Secretario Adjunto del Sindicato de Guardavidas, gremio que ha aportado al proyecto la presencia diaria e imprescindible del guardavidas, también participaron el Obispo de Mar del Plata Monseñor Gabriel Mestre, Diego García articulador del Centro de Referencia de Desarrollo Social Mar del Plata y representantes de diversos espacios sociales, culturales y empresariales.
“Estamos verdaderamente conmovidos y gratificados de los alcances de este proyecto, de sus objetivos de inclusión y generación de sentido en los jóvenes, contentos de apoyar estas iniciativas de real creación de oportunidades y de pensar y proyectar futuro”, señaló el titular de la CGT.
