El Concejo Deliberante avaló, por unanimidad, este jueves un cambio en la ordenanza que regula el funcionamiento de los cementerios en Mar del Plata. La modificación marca que deja de ser obligatorio la cremación de los cuerpos de las personas que fallecen por coronavirus.
Los ediles marcaron que este cambio “resuelve un problema que dejó al descubierto la pandemia”. La ordenanza vigente establecía que en casos de epidemia se debía proceder a la cremación obligatoria de los cuerpos. Esto generó muchos inconvenientes, porque hubo casos de voluntad manifiesta y explícita por parte de las personas fallecidas de no ser cremadas, ya sea por creencias religiosas, o por otras razones de orden personalísimo que se vieron violentadas por esta obligación.
